Harry Potter universe is based on a series of fantasy novels by British author J. K. Rowling. The novels tell the story of a young boy with magical powers that starts going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to learn all about the magical sense and casting spells. There he has a group of friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, amongst others, and the main plot is the struggle against Lord Voldemort, a wizard that intends to destroy the wizard governing body, destroy all non-magic people (muggles) and become immortal.
The first novel was released in 1997 and was really popular. Since then there have been 7 novels about Harry Potter in total and a few more books and short stories about the magical universe. Thanks to its popularity it was latter adapted to cinema and they made 8 movies staring Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, Michael Gambon as Albus Dumbledore, Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy, Alan Rickman as Severus Snape and Ralph Fiennes as Lord Voldemort, to mention a few.
Another popular film franchise about the Harry Potter universe is the "Fantastic Beasts" film series. In this films Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, is a magical zoologist that follows the track and takes care of some magical animals.
